Making a start

Making a start this afternoon on Undercover II, which. along with Blackwater Reflections II and Undercover will be bound for the Geedon Gallery’s spring show.

I’m painting sitting down at the moment, as I’m still not too comfortable to stand for long after my recent op. This is fine for these small paintings, although I shall be standing again for the next big one – Essex Wood: December – which I am looking forward to getting started on next.

Well, the snow didn’t amount to anything. A light covering overnight, a fine windy blizzard for an hour or so this morning, and now it has all gone. Worrying warnings of flooding round the Essex coast this afternoon, though, and really hoping that everyone will stay safe, especially my West Mersea and Wivenhoe friends. 🙂
