Art Stuff Stalls coming up!

By Sally Pudney on 26th October 2015

My 'bunting' on the kitchen floor!

I’m having two Art Stuff stalls in the coming weeks.

First, my friend Rosemary is planning on raising £1700 for the charity Lepra, whose headquarters are in Colchester. They aim to fight the disease leprosy through detection and diagnoses, through fighting poverty and poor living standards which allow the disease to flourish, and through fighting against prejudice which prevents people from asking for help. Rosemary is doing a sponsored trek across Crete next May to the former leper colony on the island of Spinalonga.

In the meantime, she is holding a coffee morning to raise funds for Lepra on 7th November at St Leonard’s Church, Lexden, from 10am – 12.30pm. She has asked me if I will run my Art Stuff stall in the church as well, and I’m giving a percentage of my takings to Rosemary for Lepra. I shall have all my cards ( I’ve got some new designs since Open Studios, too!), Christmas cards, 2016 Calendars, canvas prints, and printed Jute bags.

Almost exactly a month later, on 5th December, I’m having a stall at the St Leonard’s Christmas Bazaar, which takes place in the Church Hall, from 10.30am- 2.00pm. There will be a variety of different stalls, and lunches and light refreshments available as well.

If you are coming to the church and using Sat Nav the postcode is CO3 4BL.

If you are local to Colchester it would be lovely to see you at one of them.
